Carla Castilla // Ventura County Board of Supervisors, 3rd District
Carla Castilla is the daughter of immigrants, the first in her family to go to college, and has dedicated her career to serving her community. She plans to fight for more jobs, water safety, environmental protection, safe neighborhoods, and preserving the quality of life for Ventura County families.
Carla Castilla was born and raised in Ventura County by hardworking immigrant parents. That instilled work ethic led her to be the first in her family to attend college and graduate from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). After UCLA, Carla worked in the White House before returning home to serve in her own community. Along with a diverse range of experience in over 15 years of public service, Carla is a former appointee to the Ventura County Workforce Investment Board and has been actively involved with local non-profit and civic groups focusing on education, civic engagement, and empowerment of women.
