Latinas Lead California Statement on the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) Program Recision

Latinas Lead California Young Professionals Network President and attorney for the Coalition for Humane Immigrant Rights (CHIRLA), Cinthia Flores stated: 

“The Trump Administration’s recision of DACA goes against the values our country. We stand in solidarity with the 800,000 DACAmented youth who are affected by the program's recision. We will continue to identify and support candidates who represent the best interests of Latinas. To that end, our organization recognizes the leadership of formerly endorsed candidate Congresswoman Nanette Barragan on this issue. We thank Congresswoman Barragan for fighting to provide immigrant youth with a permanent solution."
