Celebrating 10 Years of Impact

Ten years ago, our organization began with a bold vision: to ensure that more Latinas had the support, resources, and opportunity to pursue elected and appointed office in California. As we celebrate our 10th anniversary, we look back with tremendous pride and, above all, gratitude.

Over the past decade, we have witnessed Latinas across California step forward to lead—running for office, earning appointments, breaking barriers, and bringing their lived experiences and perspectives to the tables where decisions are made. Every campaign supported, every appointment achieved, and every new leader who has answered the call to public service reminds us why this work matters.

But anniversaries are about more than looking back. They are also an opportunity to look ahead and imagine what is possible. While we have much to celebrate, we know that the work of achieving true political representation is far from complete. There are still too many rooms where Latina voices are absent and too many talented women who need someone to tell them: you belong here, your voice matters, and we are ready to stand with you.

As we enter our second decade, we will continue investing in Latina leadership, strengthening the pipeline to elected and appointed office, and building the collective power necessary to ensure Latinas have a meaningful voice in shaping California's future.

We honor those who paved the way. We celebrate those leading today. And we recommit ourselves to the next generation of changemakers who will carry this work forward.

The first ten years proved what is possible when we invest in Latina leadership. The next ten will be defined by how boldly we continue to build it—because when Latinas lead, California is stronger.
